The Genesis

In this light he gave a commission that Youth Churches should be established across the Redeemed world, these churches were to let the young people “come as they are”. It was to be a place where they will take ownership, learn the rudiments of the Christian race, have fun, come together in fellowship and participate in the running of the Lord’s business. It came as no surprise when upon return from the national convention along with the joy of having a new province – Akwa Ibom Province II – it was announced to a few individuals that they had been chosen to constitute a new church for “Youth in the land”.

Following nights of strategizing and prayer, days and evenings of searching for locations, in October of 2007 the core team went across the length and breadth of the land sensitizing Youth about a program tagged “let no man despise thy youth” This brought the youths together and was held at the new provincial  HQ at Treasure House.

A week later, precisely on November 4th 2007, the doors of the Youth Assembly were flung open welcoming Youth across the land to a place of their own. The location was the building next to the provincial HQ.
